HOME > CITY GUIDE > SUUÇTU WATERFALL & NATURE PARK
Located in the Mustafakemalpaşa district of Bursa, Suuçtu Waterfall is a breathtaking natural wonder formed by a fault line collapse, cascading down from a height of approximately 38 meters. Surrounded by a nature park dense with massive beech, oak, and pine trees, the soothing sound of foaming water, mist-filled cool air, and rich flora make it a perfect escape for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone looking to unwind away from city noise.
Plunging from an impressive height, Suuçtu Waterfall creates a natural mist and a serene pool at its base. The wooden bridge and viewing platforms positioned right opposite the waterfall offer ideal vantage points for viewing and taking photos.
Trekking paths running along the stream throughout the nature park promise a peaceful experience filled with high oxygen levels and natural shade under giant beech trees.
Wooden picnic tables, benches, and stream-side resting spots are designed for spending quality time and relaxing surrounded by nature.
In-Park Kiosk & Cafe: Small kiosks and wooden cafes inside the nature park offer tea, coffee, cold beverages, and light snacks.
Bring Your Own / Picnic: You can bring food and beverages to enjoy at the wooden tables available on-site.
Town Center Restaurants: On your way back, stop by Mustafakemalpaşa district center to taste local dining options and the famous Mustafakemalpaşa Cheese Dessert.
Take Photos on the Wooden Bridge: Walk onto the wooden bridge opposite the waterfall and capture photos with the cascading water in the background.
Hike Alongside the Stream: Walk along the shaded paths under beech trees and recharge with abundant oxygen.
Taste Mustafakemalpaşa Dessert: On your return trip, stop in the district center to try authentic Mustafakemalpaşa Cheese Dessert served warm.
Best Time to Visit: Spring (April–May) offers peak water flow, while autumn (October–November) features stunning fall foliage colors.
Footwear & Clothing Choice: Wear non-slip outdoor sports shoes as surfaces near the waterfall can be wet and slippery. Carrying a light jacket is recommended due to the cool mist near the water.
